Nestbound Bird is a boss in New Herland District with extremely high melee attack damage. A few hits can take the player down, making Critical Dodge-centered combat the key to survival and dealing damage.
Attack Patterns
Nestbound Bird hits harder than almost any other boss in NTE. Its melee strikes deal enough damage that just a few hits can defeat a full-HP character, making defensive play non-negotiable.
Melee Strikes
The boss’s primary attacks are powerful melee strikes with moderate wind-up animations. Each hit deals devastating damage, but the wind-ups provide dodge windows for attentive players. Critical Dodge is the primary tool — perfect-timing dodges not only avoid damage but position the player for immediate counter-attacks.
Ranged Combo Attacks
In addition to melee, Nestbound Bird uses ranged combo attacks that cover distance quickly. These are less damaging than melee strikes but harder to predict due to their speed. Focus on dodging these rather than trying to parry.
Strategy
The entire fight revolves around patience and Critical Dodge execution. Attempting to trade hits with Nestbound Bird is not viable due to its extreme damage output.
