Mammon
The Home Anomaly
Mammon is an anomaly triggered from the Anomaly Furniture in the player's Home. This boss uses frantic movements and attacks without warnings in a time-attack format, requiring aggressive Ultimate usage for efficient clears.
How to Unlock
Mammon is not a standard world boss — it is triggered from the Anomaly Furniture placed in the player’s Home. To access this fight:
- Obtain the Anomaly Furniture item (available through progression)
- Place it in your Home
- Interact with it to trigger the Mammon encounter
Attack Patterns
Mammon is characterized by extremely fast, erratic movements and attacks that come without visual warnings. This makes it one of the hardest bosses to dodge reactively.
Warning-less Attacks
Unlike most bosses that telegraph attacks with wind-up animations, Mammon frequently attacks with little to no warning. Players must rely on:
- Pattern memorization from repeated attempts
- Preemptive dodging based on position and timing
- Character switch i-frames for emergency avoidance
Time Attack Format
The Mammon fight operates as a time attack — the player must defeat the boss within a time limit. This means defensive play is not viable; aggressive offense is required even at the cost of taking damage.
Frantic Movement
Mammon moves erratically around the arena, making it difficult to maintain consistent melee pressure. Ranged attacks and homing abilities are valuable for maintaining damage uptime.
Strategy
| Priority | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Use Ultimates frequently — the time limit demands aggression |
| 2 | Memorize attack patterns since there are no visual warnings |
| 3 | Use character switch i-frames as primary dodge tool |
| 4 | Prioritize damage over safety due to time attack format |
| 5 | Bring ranged options to handle erratic movement |
Recommended Team
Lakshana characters exploit the weakness, and high-burst characters help meet the time limit:
- Hathor + Skia + Burst DPS — Hathor for Lakshana burst, Skia for sustained Lakshana damage
- Hathor + High-burst Flex + Support — Maximize damage output within time limit
Rewards
Drops Lakshana-type enhancement materials and rare enhancement materials not available from standard world bosses. The Home Anomaly can be repeated but has a cooldown period between attempts.
